Ah! Finally home for the weekend. I'm going to keep this short, because I want to hop on to a game of Madden before I go out for the evening. Anywho, lots of big ONES today. First ONE, early this morning (like, around ONE AM), I played my first game of online Madden! And with it, my first victory! Well, not officially... the guy I was playing quit close to the end of the second quarter. I was only beating him 13-0! But anywho, you always hear these horror stories about how "Madden Experts" will sign on to online Madden, randomly get matched up with a player, only to find out that they're facing a "Madden God", and proceed to get throttled 128-0! I'm glad that didn't happen to me!  Second ONE, on my way to work today, my car reached ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND MILES!!!!! Way to go, Cruiser! It's been a good run, with a minimal amount of problems! In fact, I haven't had anything you would call a major issue with the car yet! Just oil changes, and some general service work! The only thing close to a major issue would be what was wrong with the car recently. Heck, it was still drivable, and didn't bother the car too much! So, looking back on these 100,000 miles, this is so far the best car I've ever owned! I'm probably going to drive it until it falls completely apart! Plus, I only have a few months of payments left, so after that, it will be all service!Final ONE that I'll talk about: Since launching the new version of the website, today received the first new requested membership! Granted, it was somebody who has been a member here before, and had already had a screenname... but still! It's the number ONE member to signup since the relaunch! In case you're wondering, that member is DougEFresh316! Well, I'm going to get a game of Madden going now, so I'll catch y'all later! -- TG |

Friday is almost here. It can't come soon enough. I have a big weekend partially planned, so there's a lot of nothing that I have to do to prepare for more nothingness. Yeah, that's right. I will be mostly crashing this weekend. Saturday is really the only day where I have something planned. And that, my friends, is FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT!!! Yep, that evening, the trash talking will commence, and football will unofficially be in full swing! As for other stuff this weekend... well... what AM I going to do? Let's see... there's Madden 08... I'll probably play that some... might make a trip to Steak n Shake... or a couple trips... of course, the obvious: clean house... I always have that to do... work on site updates... get that hard drive fixed... eat something... watch anime... read some manga... maybe I'll get around to reading one of those Harry Potter books... sleep in... feed the cat... do some shopping... play Magic or the tank game... work on my talking head... organize my video game shelves... maybe buy a new shelf to hold some more games that I currently don't have shelf space for... drive around... Oh yeah, that reminds me! I finally got my car fixed!!! And it cost about a $100 less than what I was originally quoted! It still needs to get realigned, but they wanted me to put some miles on it before aligning it, so they want me to bring it in again next week sometime. Yeah, right now, I have to hold the steering wheel 30 degrees off-center to make it go straight. But it doesn't rumble anymore! So, I may just go out and enjoy a nice, non-shaky car! Also, my car is about 40 or 50 miles away from reaching the 100,000 mile mark! Here's to another 100,000 miles in the Cruiser, and beyond! Well, hopefully, my rant didn't annoy you too much...
