Hello, it's me again! It's been a busy day so far. Obviously, there was work today, but through all of that, the big thing that happened at work was the company fantasy football draft. It's a huge 28 team league, with two 14 team divisions. Each division had its own seperate draft, and my division's was today. Out of the fourteen teams, I was 14th in order of picking. That's right, dead last! But, since after each round, the draft order was reversed, I would get two pics in a row each and every time... except for the 15th and final round... at least I got Mr. Irrelevant! :) Anywho, I am very satisfied with my draft, so here's hoping that I can win the league!

Next up, I had a couple games of racquetball today... I was supposed to play with Ben, but I was a little late getting to the gym, and it looked like he didn't wait for very long. So, instead, Matt joined me in a couple of games. Both of which I lost, but at least I kept them competitive... 15-10, 15-11. I would have played more, but I started having some bad pains in my leg, which made it very difficult to move around. They're gone now, though, so I'm ok.

After that, it was SHOE-SHOPPING TIME!!! Yeah, I needed a new pair of dress shoes, because my old ones are talking. When shoes talk, it's usually not a good thing. So, I found a nice comfortable pair of size 12 shoes.

Yeah... ok, I'm slipping into boring talk... so, I might as well end this before I just start rambling, which I think I may have already done. See y'all later!

I almost died tonight... well, not really... I'm exaggerating a bit, but let me tell you the story, and you'll understand.

I was coming out of church services this evening, when I see my mom kind of pacing outside. She had walked out the door several minutes before I did, so I thought she would have been gone by then. Anywho, I see this baby robin sitting on top of her car, and I realized why she couldn't leave. She mentioned the bird to me, and I asked her if she wanted me to get it off her car and put it in the grass next to the building. She said that was fine, so I start walking toward the car, when the baby bird takes off into flight. Thus ends the story....

Well, not really. I just needed a break in action, so I could form a new paragraph! ;p This baby bird flies head-first into the side of a building across the street. So I was like, "Here Mom, hold my stuff. I'm going to go grab the bird". So, I look both ways, walk across the street, and have the baby bird cornered against the wall, and I start trying to grab ahold of it. It kept jumping up, so I couldn't quite get ahold of it. So, I take one final grasp at it, and almost had it in my hand, when I hear "Look out"! I glance up, and see that the rest of this baby robin's family has arrived on the scene, and is now swooping down on me to protect the baby, and possibly poke one or both of my eyes out. I do my dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge, to get away from the attacking birds, and make my way back across the street, where the crowd of church-goers had gathered to witness my near-futile attempt to stave off destruction and dismemberment by bird. So, natural reaction? Yeah, they're laughing, of course! I got a good chuckle out of it as well, and started yelling at the birds who had tried to attack me about how their baby was safe, and that I meant no harm. I don't think they understood English, though.

I have lost all confidence as a Madden player. I just had the absolute WORST game of my life. I was playing with a friend of mine online, and with less than a minute left in our first game, which I was winning 14-10, his Wiimote died. That ended the game suddenly, so we decided to play another. What a mistake that was. While he could do no wrong this game, I could do no right. Nothing I did worked, and everything that he tried worked to perfection, and most of the time, points. I lost 52-22, in what was an unexpected lopsided score. We talked after the game, and we both agreed that we couldn't believe what had taken place. After the game was over, we both had a good laugh about it, but during the game, I was livid. Hence, if you logged on during that time, and saw the color bars on the webcam feed, you know why. I switched it over after his first two passes went for two separate touchdowns. I didn't want anybody to see me angry.

Anywho, on the lighter side of things.... A new feature I will be adding to the site soon (which I referenced as the "idea" in the previous post's comments section)... I will be adding polls to the site! The reason I thought of this was because people were talking about which WTF video was better (or worse, depending on how you look at it), and one mentioned the "WTF Video of the Month". That gave me the idea... the initial poll I'm going to post will be one to vote on the WTF Video of the Month! The candidates will be all of the WTF videos I have posted through this month, and the voting will close the first Monday of September. I'll keep this going month to month, and at the end of the year, I will have one big WTF Video of the Year poll! But the polls aren't just about the videos... I will be posting other polls from time to time, as well.

Ok, time to get back to stuff to get my mind off that terrible, terrible loss. Later all!

Time for this week's edition of the WTF Video of the Week! For this one, I didn't have to look very far at all. I was just doing my normal surfing when I ran into it. I was intrigued by the title, because it mentioned the love of kitties, and who doesn't love kitties? I, for one, love kitties! I have my own, as you all know. Yes, that's her in the picture. Her name is Adolph. Isn't she cute? Anywho, I saw this video, so I opened it... Wouldn't you know it? I was very disturbed by what I saw and heard! The music is disturbing... the video is disturbing... After watching it, I just kinda sat there, wallowing in disturbia, thinking WTF???? Enjoy!
