Greetings! Stay awhile, and listen! Well, the results of my company's fitness program came in. It wasn't exactly a clean sweep for me, but I did win in both the points category and miles category. I got second in the weight loss category. Of course, that category goes by percentage weight lost, instead of total pounds. So, I would have had to lose a ton of weight compared to a skinnier person. Oh well. The important thing is that I've gotten somewhat healthier since doing that program, and I'm hoping to continue on. As a prize, I did get this pretty cool watch/heart monitor. It's style is kinda futuristic, with some big digital numbers. When I wear this chest thing that came with it, my pulse will also show up on the watch. Pretty cool all around. Ok, now that I got all of t3h gloating out of the way, what else happened today? Oh yes. Today at work, I got a new flatscreen monitor. The reason I got a new one is because my old monitor was blowing up. It was pretty old, anyway. Huge thing. Probably weighed at least 100 pounds! I also had a meeting today, which was for a haunted house I'm going to be helping out at. I've never been in a haunted house before, let alone worked in one, but it seems like it will be a ton of fun. Well, I'm getting pretty tired, so I'm signing off for the night. | Ok, there are just so many things wrong with this vid, I just had to post it. I saw this one a few weeks ago, and debated heavily on whether or not I should post it. But, it was a pretty easy choice to post eventually... I would have posted it sooner, but some other videos also came up, and I had to post those first before they faded into memory. I know I didn't get this up right away, but anyway, Shadyside lost this weekend to Wheeling Central, by a score of 45-21. They were in it until the 4th quarter, then midway through, the wheels just kinda fell off. A couple big plays, and it went from a 10 point loss to a 24 point loss. Shadyside put up a good fight against arguably the best team in West Virginia, all divisions included. Almost time for the game everybody has been waiting for! #1 small school team in West Virginia taking on the #1 small school team in Ohio! This game is the talk of the valley, and is one of the big games mentioned for the state of Ohio! Shadyside, for once, is going into a game this season as the underdog. Can the Tigers pull off the upset? The past two years these two teams have met, it has been a close one. In 2005, Shadyside missed a potential game-winning field goal late in the game, and WCC ran out the clock to secure a 15-14 victory. Last year, Shadyside held a 10-0 halftime lead, and were driving to put another score on the board, when WCC intercepted a pass and returned it about 90 yards for a touchdown. This changed the momentum of the game, and WCC went on to win 20-10. So, these two teams always battle it out, and we can expect a close game. Once again, I'll be throwing up some updates to this site, so stay tuned.... that is, if you're actually not going to the game. You should, though. Loser. ;p |
