And here's part two of your WTF... something... ugh, this sleep-drunkednesses is gettings to me! I should mention that this flash vid below is the very vid that inspired me to start showing WTF videos... in a way, you could say that this was the FIRST WTF video! I just haven't spread the infection on my site until now. And yes, when I passed it on via email to a person across the room, the response I heard was an uncensored "WTF". So, be warned... this one may truly scar you for life. It really embodies the essense of WTF.

Ok, last week was just miserable with actually doing stuff on this site. Even my AI commentations suffered! Mostly from a bum arm, but you get the picture! So, to make up for all of it, I'm going double all week!

Starting with your double dose of WTF, I don't know if I'm just sleep-drunk or just in a silly mood, but I found this vid to be somewhat amusing. I really don't know why. Maybe it's the inner kid in me longing for a simpler time, when the Muppet Show was great entertainment... but putting it all in context of the Democratic Primaries is just.... I don't know. Wait, what am I even saying? I don't care anymore. Too tired. Here's your first dose of WTF!

Well, I would be doing the AI rundown right now, but something flared up in one of my arms, and I can barely type! So I am going to be doing my rundown later. Hope this clears up soon!

It's Friday, the weekend is starting, so that can only mean one thing: time to give my adoring public something that will take up any free time they've set aside for themselves. The game of the week is:

Dream of Mirror Online (a.k.a. D.O.M.O.)

I'm sure everybody has heard of World of Warcraft, and its popularity. However, people may have questions before purchasing WoW, such as "Do I want to spend money on a game and a subscription fee, and end up not liking it?" After all, a game under a genre called MMORPG could be intimidating. Well, if you're worried about trying out MMORPGs before actually committing to anything, then DOMO is for you. First of all, DOMO is free, so there is nothing to commit to. There are some add-ons that you can purchase at their online store, but they are not necessary to proceed in the game. Second, the game is actually quite enjoyable, although cheesy at times. I know that there have been some nights where I've been up way past my "bedtime" playing this game.

The game takes place in a sort-of parallel universe. The environment is 3D, consisting of several separate overworld maps and dungeons. There is a lot to explore in this game, and is pretty much wide open for adventure, although you may not want to rush into distant lands immediately, as you will get way over your head and get eaten by enemies that can dispose of you in one swipe. Throughout the game, you can take on various quests, which are all conveniently stored in a journal. As you gain experience, you can increase your attributes and eventually be able to wield more powerful weapons and armour.

One downsize to the game is the sheer size of the download. If you are a computer packrat, be ready to clear space off of your harddrive. The download is in the form of a zip file, about 1.2GB in size. Then, since you have to unzip the file, be ready to have another gig-and-a-half free. Then comes the installation, which takes up yet another gig and change! If you do it in this order, you will need about 4.5GB of free space on your harddrive. If you don't have that much space, before installing the software, you can delete the zip file after unzipping it. With this method, you will still need somewhere between 2.5 and 3GB of free space in order to make it work.

In order to play the game, you will need a username and password, which you can register at the site I linked to above. (This is also the site you can download the game from.) So far, I haven't received any spam from signing up there, so I'm pretty sure it's safe.

All in all, it's a very enjoyable and addicting game for those with a little extra free time, and a love of some cheese. Hope you don't use up your entire weekend!
