Well, after watching last night's final debate, I decided to head over to JibJab and see if they had put anything up recently about this year's election. Well, sure enough, they have this one! I'm probably a couple of months late on this one, but hey, better late than never! Enjoy!

Greetings, drones! After an extended absense, I give you the return of the WTF Video of the Week!

(applause...)

Now, to start off the revitalization of this TGBob.com staple, I found this video that features a television icon from the past, a guy who looks like an grown-up version of a current television icon, and computer zombies! I wasn't exactly sure what the point of all of this was, but it's mind-numbingly WTF-worthy! So, enjoy!

Here we are, 23 days away from Election Day. I was curious about who would be on the ballot for President, not just the major party candidates, but also third party and independents. Well, for the state of Ohio (in which I live), I found a list of the presidential candidates who will be on the ballot:

Chuck Baldwin (Constitution)
Bob Barr (Libertarian)
Richard Duncan (Independent)
John McCain (Republican)
Cynthia McKinney (Green Party)
Brian Moore (Socialist)
Ralph Nader (Independent)
Barack Obama (Democrat)

Even though I'm currently registered as a Democrat, I don't hold myself affiliated with any political party. The only reason I'm registered as anything, is because apparently, you can't register as an independent in the state of Ohio. Believe me, I tried. Got into a heated argument with the pollworkers at the primary election center over this.

Anywho, I'm going to be doing some research on each of the above candidates, including where they stand on the issues, what they've voted on in the past, and their respective levels of integrity. I'm hoping that at the end of this research, I will be able to make an informed decision on who to cast my vote for. I will also be sharing my reasons for why I'm choosing said candidate. Although I won't use this as a "site-official endorsement", I'm hoping that the research I do, as well as your individual research, will help you to choose the candidate you feel best meets your standards.

It had been a while since I had been to the gym, since I've been going just about nonstop with work and other stuff, so I decided to take a bit of a break and actually play some racquetball with Matt at the gym. Overall, we played three games, with Matt winning the first and third matches, and myself taking the middle.

During the second match, at one point, I was up 12-11, after Matt had come back from being four or so points down. With it being his serve, he hit a pretty standard serving shot; somewhat speedy off of a medium-strength hit, right down the middle. Nothing tough about returning the serve, and it was one I had seen numerous times. Because of my familiarity with this serve shot, based on the angle and the spin of the ball, I knew at what angle the ball was going to bounce toward me, so I setup for the swing and let it fly. I had the perfect swing for this type of return, and guess what happens? I MISSED!

When I had swung where the ball was supposed to bounce to, it actually passed about a foot and a half below my racquet! I just kind of stared at the ball in shock, because I knew something had to be off! I knew how the ball was supposed to bounce, and it didn't make sense that I would have misjudged such a standard serve! So, after I expressed my disbelief to Matt, he picked up and examined the ball, then showed it to me. Upon his serve, the ball had nearly split in half! It had split about three-fourths of the way around its circumference, so it looked like Pac-Man. I guess we must have used that ball way too many times, or something. But at least everything made sense now as to why I would have misjudged a bounce so drastically. I didn't plan for any ball-splitting variables.

Ok, this is just insane. This guy attempts to complete the fabled 360 degree swing. Does he succeed? Watch and find out! :)
