  Well, this has been one busy week thus far. I've been hammering out new stuff on this site, working on stuff for other sites, going to my real job, entertaining scores of people, and lots of other stuff in between! So hopefully, I'll remember everything.

First off, this is going to be my first blog post where people are actually notified that I posted it! Well, that is, if you checked the box in your account info to receive notifications on when I post a new blog! I hope it works! I guess I'll know if this goes through, and doesn't crap out on me! I'm pretty confident in my code, though, as I've done these scripts hundreds of times. Oh, and also, the "New Message" notification is now working, if you have that checked in your profile as well! I'm going to be testing that out in a minute, as I have to reply to a message I received earlier!

So, on to stuff I've been doing in the physical realm! Last night was our community band's first concert, and I have to say, except for a few small glitches in a couple of the endings, it didn't go too bad! We performed at the Shadyside Care Center for the elderly residents there, and they all seemed to have a good time and enjoy the music. I had my mom videotape the thing, and she said that this one lady in front of her was just having the best of times! So, if I ever get the video on this site, you'll probably see a lot of that lady!

Well, Strike & Co. just got down here, so I'm going to continue this one later. Well, time to hit the Submit button and see if everybody who wants it gets it! :)

  Greetings, my faithful drones! As promised, I would like to announce the latest update to TGBob.com! This is actually a series of updates, all revolving around user profiles.

One thing that has been missing from this site is the ability to update your user information, including such information like your password, email information, avatar, etc. Well now, after you login, you'll see a link where you can edit your account.

But that's not where it ends. With the ability to edit account information, each member now has their own "Member Board", which can be modified using your Account Editing functions. On your Member Board, you can also post some information about your interests, contact information, etc. Plus, on other people's Member Boards (and your own), you can leave comments for that member. Also, whether you're in the forum, comments, or blog sections, wherever you see a member's username, you can click it to access their Member Board.

I'm planning on implementing a Member's List eventually, but that's not quite ready yet. But, for now, you now have more power to interact with other members than before! So, hope you enjoy the new freedoms you've been given!

  I know I haven't posted in a while. It's because I've been working on a MAJOR update to the site, which I'm hoping to launch tonight. In the meantime, here's some randomness to hold you over! Enjoy!

1) I'm really anxious for the next episode of K-On! to come out... just so I have an excuse to not keep watching the previous episode of that show! That episode has made me suffer from a severe case of moe-verload!

2) Tomorrow is movie night! Got a nice-sized group going to see the Wolverine movie!

3) Both my cellphone and camcorder ran out of juice during the Autobahn trip, so I couldn't film everything I wanted to.

4) Adolph was staring at her reflection in my guitar the other day. Then she started meowing at it!

5) I might have to become a bit of a Steelers fan. Why? Because a former quarterback from my high school was invited to try-out for the team!

6) This upcoming Tuesday is my band's first live!

7) The weight loss program at work is done. I didn't do too well these past few weigh-ins, but overall, lost 12.5 pounds. I'm not stopping there, though!

8) Saturday is a busy day for the church I attend. We have a funeral to attend, food orders to take for our food ministry, an orphanage truck to load with donations, and there's a Lady's Inspiration Day at a sister congregation.... all at 11 AM!!!

9) The Top 4 on American Idol are so close talent-wise, it's tough to predict who the winner will be... especially after seeing the judge's pet, "Glambert", land in the bottom 2 last night.

10) Is it May yet? I'm hoping to have a big Memorial Day cookout of sorts, and I'm anxious to fire up my grill!

11) Is it June yet? I'm really looking forward to going to Florida for Rhombus's wedding!

12) Is it July yet? I want more Clannad!

  Well, it's that time of year again, sans the blizzard! :) It's time to make the annual trip to Wilmington to partake in the Autobahn Music Festival! One of my favourite bands, The Echoing Green, will be out there again, and since I last saw them, Joey got skinny! So, I plan on picking him up at some point!

Joining me at the festival will be Strike & Co., sirgryfang and his wife (madamgryfang?), and Strike's sister, Louie (Ether Bunny). Also inanimately joining us will be the Bob-cam, which I will be using to capture footage and tEG performance from the festival. I may record bits of other bands, but tEG usually goes on close to the end, and I want to conserve battery and memory for their performance.

I am hoping that we will all have a good time, so pray that we have a safe trip to and from Wilmington, and may the Lonely Tree still be standing, to guide our way.
