| Hey folks! T.G.Bob here, bringing you another edition of WTF Video of the Week! I thought I'd do something special this week, since tomorrow, Weird Al Yankovic is releasing a new single! So, in honour of his upcoming release, I chose something... that has absolutely nothing to do with Weird Al! Well, I guess there are some similarities... there's music, dancing, the shooting of a video, and epic weirdness. Plus, Weird Al has been on Japanese television before, so you could say it's all related... whatever. Just enjoy this classic WTF moment from our friends in the far east! | ||||||||

Let's kick off the weekend! 1) During my church's food distribution today, as I was carrying a box out to a couple's car, the man asked what grade I was in. Talk about a compliment, as I'm rapidly approaching 30! 2) My weight is finally starting to come off again. After gaining a bit back, I'm down to about where I had gotten down to earlier this year. 3) Florida... 5 days! 4) I have a meeting later today at my house. I prepped by mopping the kitchen. 5) I may have a brown recluse spider living in my house after all. Picked up a pile of clothes in my laundry basket, and saw a wirey looking brown spider fall out, and scurry under the washer. 6) Thought of a good name of a hidden ninja village the other day: The village hidden in a van down by the river. 7) I've finally gotten some time to play Sims 3, and with Strike as my witness, my character just had the absolute worst day of his life. Bathroom had phantom leak, kitchen caught on fire, made a friend, then promptly threw him under the bus to advance my career, and became extremely overworked. Tomorrow is always sunnier, though, in Simland! 8) My waitress at Huddle House got a kick out of the shirt I was wearing last night. It was my "I know HTML (How To Meet Ladies)" shirt. 9) Going to Panera for lunch. Will probably get the same thing I always get... Asiago Roast Beef, French Baguette, and coffee. 10) Did I mention Florida in 5 days? Yeah, not excited about it in the least! ;) 11) I'm hoping that next week at work doesn't drag, but at the same time, I hope I can get tons of stuff done. Between interruptions and the complexities of my work, it's been tough to get anything accomplished. 12) I'm hoping that when it comes time for the bridesmaid/groomsmen dances at the wedding next weekend, I hope I'm paired with the cutest girl of them all! ;) -- TG |

| Here's some Halo machinima for you. I got a bit of a kick out of it. Maybe it's just because I'm getting really sleepy. Anywho, enjoy! | ||||||||

Right into it! 1) I'm home right now after a visit to the dentist's office. My teeth are all shiny now! 2) While at the dentist, there was a young girl screaming bloody murder during my cleaning. I was afraid I was going to jump at some of her shrieks and cause myself to get stabbed by the sharp instruments stuck in my mouth. 3) The new lady on my office floor was complaining to me today about how often people bring in donuts. I replied that our floor is the hardest floor on which to diet, since people are always bringing in stuff like that. 4) Watched the end of the Pens game last night. Wish I would have watched the whole thing. Boy, was it exciting! 5) Cooking some Lean Cuisine in my microwave right now for lunch. I think it's sweet and sour chicken. 6) And the microwave just beeped at me! 7) I got Sims 3 recently, and between bachelor party weekend and everything else, I've barely had time to play it! Got a guy created, but not moved in yet. 8) I got a new air conditioner put in my bedroom window, so my room is finally cool! 9) Before the AC, I had my window opened, with a fan in front of it to blow in some fresh air. Well, that was useless, as I discovered later. I took the screen out of my window, only to find that there was still a storm window behind the screen, blocking any fresh air from getting in! 10) Just about a week until Florida! 11) That reminds me... I'm going to need to find somebody to take care of Adolph while I'm gone... 12) Lunch should be cooled down by now. Time to eat! -- TG |

It's been a while since I've done a classic repost... wait... I've NEVER done a classic repost! So this is a first! Anywho, this "Classic Repost" is obviously, a reposting of something that I've posted on this site a long time ago, and may have become lost to the ages. But now that we have some more viewers, I'd like to share what many may have missed. The reason I'm posting this video again is because I've been listening to this song a good bit lately, and recalled the music video for this song. After watching a movie like Pixar's "Up" (specifically, the first 10 minutes), as well as the short beforehand, I thought of how good stories don't necessarily need words to convey the plot or emotion the writer wants the viewer to see. And although this video does have words and lyrics, since they are in Japanese, most of us cannot understand what is being said/sung without the aide of subtitles. However, even without understanding the words, the visual storytelling is all that is needed to get the story across, and this one may choke you up a bit. I give you one of my favourite music videos of all time, Orange Range's "Sayonara". -- TG |
