Way too long... Way, way too long! (drink) I'm finally back. Sorry for the extended absence. I really don't know why I've been away from here for so long. Over the next week or so, I'll try to catch everybody up with what's been going on with me. I'm hoping I can at least keep that promise. Ugh. [before days pass and years go by] Argh, over a month between posts again. Bah. Gonna catch you guys up on a couple things, since I've been meaning to post and just haven't done it... so now I'm posting instead of working. Hah. 1) First and second of the month was over in Cinci hanging out, playing games (munchkin, something fun called "Seven Dragons" which I'd like to play again--why are tile games so awesome?) and then my frst "real" game of Paranoia! ^_^ We ended up using the "outside" campaign, so things wend a little weird and we ended up getting all our clones shot into the sea (where they promptly died). That kinda sucked, but my mutant ability was "polymorph" so one of my clones fell between the cracks and didn't actually leave the complex. No idea how that'll end up working out for him, since I couldn't figure out a way for him to replace the next clone before it got to the rest of the group... and having two clones out at a time just gets confusing for everyone. The other 'weird bit' was that we didn't really have secret society objectives, so we were all cautiously trying to reach Friend Computer's objective... doesn't hurt that we had a Green dude with a autorifle as Team Leader. Oh, and we didn't have Mandatory Bonus Duties, which confused me a bit, but whatever. A good time was had by all, and if I was slightly sleepdrunk, well, Happiness Is Mandatory so I just hope everyone else was able to laugh at me. 2) Something else happened this month, I'm sure of it.... Hah. 3) Have been reading a lot of fanfic again (I'm so far behind!). And was acting depressed for a week when it first started getting cold. I have a space heater in my room to try to keep that from happening again, but at least the AC is off now. 4) Ninjas continue to be mis-scheduled; hopefully I'll have one more session with all 3 players before Brad has to call off for a month or so while people go on strike at his job... and he counts as management so will be having Mandatory Bonus Duty to the tune of 60+hr work weeks until that resolves. 5) Still trying to get myself back into programming my webpage game thing. Kyla & Jason have both been trying to prod me into doing work on their webpages as well... I thought Kyla's was done?? Ah well. 6) I will be back in Wheeling on the 30th to help my sister & brother-in-law move into their new house, which was supposed to be closed on today. 7) Got some more comics yesterday... missed some Darkhawks for my brother, but did manage to get one that he needs. I'll have to go back Sunday and see if any of the others are still at that store. 8) Have fun at the renfair without me on Saturday, guys! ;_; 9) Naruto has started having filler episodes every couple weeks. FAILURE! :< :< Still trying to get my roommates' schedules together so we can have a semi-regular anime night; gonna start 'em with Trigun and see how things go from there. FMA and FMA:B are both on the "to watch" list; both seasons of Ghost in the Shell likely there as well. 10) Posting a youtube link to a song I'm tossing around as a ninja AMV. I'm sure there's enough footage to make it work.... hahahahahaha |

Greetings, otakus! Time for the return of WTF Videos! Since I haven't been consistent with getting them out weekly, I'll just refer to them as "WTF Videos", or the singular version. Anywho, I saw this as a featured video in related videos when I was trying to find a new Akeboshi song to learn on my uke. (Leaning towards "Night and Day", BTW...) So what did I have to lose? The preview image had a cute Japanese girl, so I couldn't resist! What I end up watching is one of the most random music videos I've ever seen. The song is ordinary enough... just a standard light J-pop song with a bunch of repetition. But I seriously think they tried to fit anything and everything they could in this video. She even farts magic! (it happens around the 1:29 mark) So... WTF??? |
