Took Monday off to catch up on housework and sit around wathing melancholy anime and get annoyed at the Daylight Savings Time thing. Better now.

1) Except my throat is starting to hurt. Hoping it doesn't get worse overnight, but at least now I have a thermometer so I know that my temperature is lower than normal. Do what now??

2) Oh, and I sent that massmail I've been threatening to send.

3) And I didin't get the budgeting & planning done that I wanted to do, but I did ge tmy cleaning & cooking done so I guess I'll do the planning stuff tomorrow when I have a legitimate day off work.

4) Had a 2 hr call today :( Was another "What is going on here???" thing, he'd been bounced between Tech Support & Billing 5 times or so already, so I figured I could walk Billing through the stuff they needed to know about. Instead, the first person I ge tsays he's only SUPPOSED to have on-demand, not the "real" channels--Customer says, "no, look at my online bill" so I do that and he's right; so I call billing up again and this time the guy says "Sure, let me add that to an existing order" only he picks a completed order, and now the customer isn't gonna ge tanything till after that order leaves the system on the 28th or so.
Took probably 40, minutes to get that last bit sorted out, and I ended up leaving him with I-Don't-Know-What department. Might've been retention. She sounded competent to deal with it so I got out and had lunch. at 720PM.

Yeah, so that was most of my day >_< Now it's 1AM and I want to go to bed. It just better not be only a nap. ne?

Hum. Barely wrote anything here last week--not sure if that's good or bad!

1) Finally got an "auto-fail" QA (been waiting for one of those) and then a 70. I think. My other numbers appears to be fine as far as I can tell.

2) My supervisor was on vacation last week, so haven't heard anything from him anyway ;)

3) On Sunday, we replaced the fluorescent light fixture in my room. Yay my lightswitch works again! and it's properly bright in here.

4) Found out at the end of the day today that on Friday I didn't log out of my phone when I left.

5) Also Friday and Saturday I forgot my "tips" sheet. The one with all the phone numbers in it, for transferring people etc. Was able to recover it both times I came back, fortunately.

6) Work area is still being remodeled, so I've not been sitting at the normal place. I think I found where my supervisor has been relocated to, though.

7) Offered to math tutor someone else next semester. Whee. College-style algebra this time, so not really difficult enough, but hey. The class this semester is 4 hours on weekends, so no wonder she's failing it.

8) Going home for a visit on Wednesday, yay! Going to try to bring some books & a few other things (mebbe) back with me.

9) My pre-order for the EG CD is in, and I got the softcopy download, but haven't gotten to listen to it yet....... :( I need a cassette adapter for my cd player!

10) I really am getting the hang of my job, though that doesn't mean I like it any better! ;) It's just not being as stressful.
Part of that was deciding that I'm just gonna care about getting the problem fixed (even if that means "I can't help you, let me transfer you to someone who can") and letting the numbers fall where they will. I am getting better at timely call wrap-up, however, which is really nice.

11) Had a series of really quick calls this evening, when New Jersey decided to have an outage on several channels and lots of people called in wondering what was going on. That should make up for the call that took nearly an hour because the Network Technicians were really swamped mid-day...

I think that's most the news. Nothing really major going on or anything, though I do need to get an oil change on my van!

1) My gut has been bugging me since midday Saturday. Dunno why, I mean it's not really painful, just... kinda sore. And not just in one spot, either.
Seems to be fixed as of around 6PM today, which is good.

2) Also, Sunday I woke up feeling kinda feverish again. Pretty certain I just overheated since Sunday turned out so warm and I slept nearly 12 hours without any hydration; got up at 830AM today and had some water and seem to have been better since then.

3) Sunday I slept for about 11.5 hours... today I'm not really sure how much sleep I got. Was in bed around 230AM, woke up 6 hours later, couldn't fall asleep again for 30 minutes or so, woke up 2 hours later (or tried to) and was up for nearly an hour trying to get a shower and breakfast... failed at that, so I called off work for today and went back to sleep for 4.5 hours. So I guess that's a total of 12.5 hours today? Really not sure why I'm hating afternoons so much right now :(
Feeling pretty good right now, which is awesome since I have to go to work tomorrow. At least I've got Weds off as well..

4) So that means I'm at 6 or 7 "occurances" at work. Bah. Guess I'm just waiting for my supervisor to say something to me about it.

5) I didn't get to mention that earlier this week I got ANOTHER 93 QA. So at least those numbers are good, though my average call time for the month is 17 minutes and some change. At least that's under 20 minutes, so I'm showing improvement.

6) Conclusion: I really need a different job. Wondering whether that'll mean moving out of Columbus as well? I suppose I should talk with the people at Robert Half Technology before I make any real decisions there... but it would be ++ if I could get a better job BEFORE I get kicked out of this one. v.v

7) Need to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing with my time outside of work. Spending a lot of time chatting on FB and/or hanging out with people, but mostly that's not constructive. Some of it is maintenance, but that's Not Good Enough. Need to keep moving forward rather than just treading water, I mean, yeah I've put up with working at a call center for a month now, but I moved away so I wouldn't have to have this kind of job, and 10.5/hr does not make up for that. That's still solidly in the "just enough to live on range", so like I said--Not Good Enough.

8) Have managed to get caught up with the Bleach & Naruto anime. Bleach just finished up its second main storyline, so it's either going to collapse under its own weight, or it'll find a new interesting direction to go. Naruto, however, is so far behind the manga that I know it has pretty far to go still :) So long as it doesn't go back to filler I'll be happy! I mean, what is this, one half-season of filler for every half-season of "real" material? SO not-cool :<
