	IT'S BEEN A WHILE....

It has been a long while since I've written one of these. There is too much to write about, also! Lots of updates going on with me, and if I went into details about everything, I would probably finish a novel. And everybody knows what I think about novels! ;) Anywho, I'm just going to generalize a few of the things that's going on in short snippets, and hopefully in the future, I'll keep more up to date with these blogs.

COMING UP....

1) More free time! Finished up some big projects, and may finally be able to get back to the gym, finish my website, update my myspace, and lots of other stuff!

2) Going to NC from 12/29/06 to 01/06/07! Trip will include staying at my brother's place, and going to the Meineke Care Care Bowl, formerly the Continental Tire Bowl, and will be played at Bank of America Stadium. Gotta love naming rights! Anywho the game will feature Navy vs. Boston College. Hoping the TopCats will make an appearance, since it is at Charlotte! ;)

3) Christmas coming up... still need to put up decorations. And buy presents. And get Christmas cards. And send out Christmas cards. And... well, you get the picture.

HAPPENED....

1) Work, work, and more work...

2) Celebrated Thanksgiving, and also had some Christmas festivities, since my brother was in town, and we weren't going to see him and his family during Christmas. He got me a set of surround sound speakers.

3) Waited in line for the Nintendo Wii, but came to find out that they only had 20 units in stock. I was #22 in line. Bleh.

That's a VERY short list of stuff. Here's hoping to me updating this thing more often!

Well, tomorrow (well, technically, today, but....), I take my trip to North Carolina! Booyah! I won't be back until late Wednesday, so close to a full week of sunshine, sleeping, and all around fun-having! I will be leaving at about 3:00 PM, which means an ETA of 10:00 PM. It normally only takes me 6.5 hours to reach there, since I only make one stop along the way, but I'm going to be following family down there this time, and although they said they only plan on that one stop as well, you just never know! Normally, also, I'm a faster driver than the rest of my family. Not that I speed.... much.... but I'm just very efficient when it comes to predicting what lane I need to be in, depending on the flow of the traffic. So, I have a knack for not getting caught behind slow people.

Anywho, I can't wait until I'm down there. Although, I want to talk to my brother about future trips down there, because I want to try to go to another Carolina Panthers game this year. We had a blast last year at the Panthers vs. Patriots game there. Yes, I'm a Pats fan, so just the fact that I got to see my Pats in action in person was awesome (even though they lost... ). But still, to this day, that wasn't the best part. Oh no. Not at all. The best part happened before the game, where I got to mingle with the Top Cats! That's right! The Panthers' cheerleaders! I got thirteen autographs total, and it was cool just getting to be near them! My favorite, by far, was Misty. Absolutely gorgeous blond with cute southern accent. Ah! That's the main reason I want to go back to a Panthers' game, is just to mingle with the Top Cats again, and I also want to get a picture of me and Misty together! Oh, I hope it comes to pass!

Ok, I've probably said too much! Got to get some sleep, as I don't want to drive down to NC asleep! I'll try to update y'all from down there! Bye for now!

Ok, it's been a bloody while since I've updated this thing. So much to go over! It's half-annoying! Oh well, for a while, I was adding a blog entry every day, but it's been almost a month since my last one. Ok, need to stop rambling... down to business!

First, updating on past things... I have working AC now! It's very nice and cool at my place now, which is good, since we've had some pretty hot days around here. Plus, when I entertain people here, it's not roasting due to the additional body heat. Let's see, what else... ah yes, I'm on solid foods again! That's always a plus! That liquid diet really sucked. I'm still on some medicine, but it's not too bad now.

Now, new stuff... yesterday was really really busy. I was in a mini-golf tournament, and I totally bombed! I was leading for about the first six holes, then I just couldn't make a shot to save my life! I think I still finished either third or fourth, but if I would have played to my potential, I would have run away with the thing. Oh well, I guess you can't win them all! Right after the tourney, I booked it to my church, because we were having our one day VBS/Bible camp thing, and I had to perform in a skit. And when I perform in a skit at VBS, that can only mean one thing.... (drumroll).... TOGA!!!!! That's right, the leopard-printed bedsheets came out, and I was all decked out in all sorts of weird toganess. Not only did I have the leopard-spotted toga, but also a patriot hat, and some weird knitted thing on my arm... I looked absolutely ridiculous! But my friend Jason looked even worse, I think! He had the flannel bedsheet toga and a patriot hat as well, but he also had on the long black leather gloves from my Zorro Chicken costume, and a toy light-sabre-looking thing. I have seen a pic of the two of us performing, and I'm going to try to get a copy of it to post here!

Also yesterday, as the title of this blog references, I went to see "Nacho Libre"! It was very stupid, and that's what made it good! I was laughing most of the way through, just because of the moronity of it all! In the end, I was entertained, and that's what I was hoping for.

The verdicts are in on several things, it seems. First, my AC. As you all know by now, my AC has been broken for the past couple of days. I found out today that the entire thing is COMPLETELY FRIED!!!!! Which means none other than having to get a brand new unit. On the plus side, I don't have to pay for it at all, since I rent! See? Regardless of what realtors will tell you, there are SOME advantages to renting over buying! Not many, but some! :)

As for my stomach ailment, it turns out I had (unpronouncable medical term here), which means only one thing.... HAPPY PILLS!!!!! Well, that and the fact that for 48 hours, from the time of the doctor's visit, I have to be on a strict ONLY LIQUIDS diet! Which really sucks, because I hadn't had anything to eat prior to the doctor's visit either, so I'm going on no food today!

The funny thing is, my sister has impeccable timing, well, as my illnesses go. You see, she is moving to North Carolina tomorrow, so what happens? That's right! EATING OUT AT A BUFFET! AND I COULDN'T EAT A SINGLE BITE!!!!! I had to fill up on Pepsi and coffee!!! Drinking lots of fluids, while everybody else is going up to the buffet for seconds, thirds, and beyond! Torture, I tell you! Torture! Especially since I love to eat!

Well, this has been a bad day, but I GUESS it could be a lot worse... I could have a FREAKIN' BAT FLYING AROUND MY HOUSE!!! Well, that was kinda fun, especially since I didn't get my face knawed off. Well, that's all for now!

The time has come for me to post another one of these here blogs. Today has kind of sucked. First, I woke up late, probably because I was still exhausted from yesterday's dance with the bat. Plus, I tend to sleep longer when I'm warm, and, well, I couldn't be much warmer, since my AIR CONDITIONER IS BROKE! Grrrrr!!!!! I found out that the problem with it is a "bad compressor", or something, which could be as simple as replacing a part, or as complex as needing to replace the entire AC unit! All I can say is, thank goodness I rent! Regardless of the extent of the repairs, I won't have to pay a dime! But, at the same time, I hope it get fixed soon!

However, that's not the end of it. This afternoon, I got sick at work. Nothing contagious, medoesn't think, but my stomach hurt a good bit, and I was also dizzy throughout the day. Felt like I was going to pass out! Oh well, hopefully, tomorrow is better for my health!
