Ugh, I've been so busy lately, it's been ridiculous. But I thought I'd take some time to let everybody know of some possible changes to the site. Again. Well, as you can see, we've started giving some extra people access to post their blogs to the main section of this site. It's not quite in full swing yet, but hopefully this feature will give this site a bit of variety in the future. Next, unless there are any objections (which I doubt), I'm most likely going to discontinue the full-out American Idol posts. The reason? First, I think I'm the only one on this site who even cares about the show, so there's not really an interest for others to read through the posts. Secondly, I've had to focus mostly on writing these summaries instead of getting to enjoy the show. So, I'm thinking I may just include some general thoughts about the show, like predictions and such, in larger blogs about stuff people may be interested in. Next up, I want people's opinions on what I will call a "Live Blog". What this would be is a small panel for members to post random thoughts at any time that would be posted instantaneously to the website in a small panel somewhere on the site. It would be constantly changing as people post stuff, and would be updateable from either the main website, or from cell phone or PDA with internet access. Would this be something that everybody would be interested in? I know I didn't do that great of a job describing it, but I think it would be something cool that would add a bit of coolness to the site. Well, back to watching AI. Very upset at the women's side of the votes thus far. -- TG |

Bleah, sorry I've been gone so much, but I'm back down with whatever-it-was I had in January. No fever yet, even though I've been going to work, which is good, but I slept a *lot* today to make up for it. So anyway, I've been staying upstairs on the couch instead of down here in the cold. Almost have ff9 beat, I should be at the last boss now... I've got more news I'll post & email around once I'm well enough to stay down here that long! (Oh, and Erin is pretty bad off, too, so scratch any ninja plans for this weekend.) |
