  Once again, here I find myself explaining my absence from posting here. Let's just say I've been busy. I know, that's always what I post here. But it's true. Here's what's been going on:

First, moving. I know, I've been moved in for a while, right? Well, I still had a bunch of little stuff over at the apartment, and it's funny how much little stuff one bachelor can have! I mean, it took several trips just to get everything moved over to the new house! So that's where I was a lot of last week. Packing and moving the little things.

Second, preparing for the party! Yep, this past weekend, I had my open house party, and it went very well. Not as many people showed up as I thought there would be, so of course, that means tons of leftovers! I have a bunch of uncooked burgers sitting in the freezer, plus a whole package of brats, several packages of hot dogs, and tons of side dishes and desserts. I'm going to be eating well for quite a while!

Third, Adolph's vet appointments. I had to take Adolph in for a checkup, mainly due to this rash she developed on the side of her face. Something routine, I thought. But when she was getting her bloodwork done, she went into a very serious spell that left her howling, slipping in and out of consciousness, and hyperventilating. The vets thought they were actually going to lose her! It was pretty scary. So today, I had to take her back for additional tests, and although she was fussy, she made it through with no problems. So hopefully, the tests come back with good results. For now, I have to give her an antibiotic twice a day for a week and a half. But all in all, she's back to normal. Well, as normal as a mutant cat can be!

And of course, I've been busy with work. With what little time I've had, I've been working on my projects, so it's been quite the hectic schedule around here. I'm adjusting to my new office reasonably well, although it's still too quiet down there. Me and my officemate have been chatting it up a lot more, which is good, considering that I used to have people bugging me all the time. I still do, but most of them bug me over the phone, so I'm enjoying the in-person interaction.

  Hello all! How am I here, you may ask? Strike had it right about my cable not being hooked up until next Wednesday, but my laptop seemed to find for itself an unsecured hotspot in my house without me even asking! Just happened to turn on my laptop so I could stream some Haruhi to the big screen, and next thing you know, I get signal!

So, here's what all has gone on since I've last been here. Obviously, I am in the new house now. Been here since Saturday. That Saturday, I had my big moving party and also got my new furniture delivered! I will eventually post some pics, and mebbe videos of the new place up here, so be patient on that front!

Also in regards to the house, I have a roommate! It is one of my best friends from high school, Jason. He moved in the Wednesday before I moved in. Unfortunately, though, the day after he moved in, he found out that the store he is working at will be closing down soon, so he only has a couple of weeks left working where he is now. He has a bunch of good leads for new work, though, so keep him in your thoughts and prayers that he will find work very soon.

Speaking of work, I now have a new office at my workplace. I guess some of the VP's didn't like me being so far away from them, so I got moved down right next to all of them, so they could all collaborate with me on a moment's notice. A lot of people in the company look at this move as if it is a great honour, which I guess it is, but it also comes with added pressure to perform beyond expectations, and I'm not one who enjoys pressure. It just stresses me out. Today was my first day at the new desk, and it actually went pretty smoothly. The funny thing was that I had at least a half dozen visitors at my desk, and I know that at least one visitor was mostly just to be able to sneak a peak at the girl who sits across from me. You see, this girl is considered to be one of the most attractive girls in the whole building by most of the guys, so I think at least a couple guys came down to "see me" just so they could see her! I know what you're thinking, though, and she's married, so no.

Well, that's a brief rundown of stuff for now. I'll try to post more later. Catch y'all later!

  Hello everybody! As many of you know, I have recently bought a new house, and today is the day when I am moving the big stuff over there. This includes my computer, so for the next few days, I will not have any internet access at home. This of course means that none of you will probably hear from me on this website for a little while. It will probably be sometime next week before I get everything with my computer system and internet access hooked back up. So, I don't want anybody to fret about me not posting new stuff. I promise I will get plenty of new stuff up here once I am back to being internet capable.
