| Greetings, my loves, and welcome to another edition of WTF Video of the Week! As you all know, yesterday was Valentine's Day, where we celebrated that special time of the year when couples show their love for each other by going to a nice dinner at Denny's, buying each other chocolates and flowers that will die within a week's time, and performing other trivial displays of affection. Unless you go Japanese style, where the girls have to do all the buying of gifts, and us guys get to sit back on our butts and procrastinate for a month with our gift-buying! Well, because of that special holiday, I've got a nice WTF-worthy love song for y'all that is insensitive, but statistically accurate! Enjoy! | ||||||||

Since I'm just kind of sitting around now, time for some randomness. 1) Sitting in a Huddle House right now, where the servers are getting lots of my chili! 2) I went to a hockey game on Thursday while I was down in Tampa. Apparently, somebody I used to go to church with was also at the game, and I didn't even know until after the fact! 3) Sonny and Cher's "I Got You Babe" just started playing. Great. 4) I keep getting more and more ideas written down for my webcomic, but yet, it seems like I'm making no progress. 5) On the plane ride home, I told my supervisor that my one wish was that some hot girl would sit next to me. He said the same thing. Well, TWO hotties sat next to me, while my supervisor had some girl sit by him who had bad B.O. Needless to say, he was a bit jealous! :D 6) One of the cute American Idol contestants accepted my friend request on Facebook! Now, if only I could actually watch the episodes to see how she does! 7) I got this sweet new hat from Tampa... it's a Tampa Bay Lightning hat, and it has what appears to be steel trim! 8) I get tomorrow off because of Presidents Day. After the long week in Tampa, I need an extended weekend! 9) I hope to get some house cleaning done tomorrow, and maybe get serious on my workout regiment. 10) I'm wondering if the shrimp from my Super Bowl party is still any good... 11) I did my taxes today! Well, technically yesterday... But I'm getting a nice big refund back! This most likely means I'm going to be taking family and friends out to dinner! But probably not at the same time! 12) To all, whether it was by phone, email, site comments, or social networking site, thank you for your thoughts and prayers for me when I lost Adolph. Your friendship is awesome, and it was great to see how much Adolph meant to everybody. She was definitely a special cat who loved everybody and left a lasting impression on just about everybody who she met. She will be missed. -- TG |

Time for some long overdue randomness! 1) Drinking peppermint tea right now. It has the most awesome ingredients list ever... peppermint leaves... that's it! 2) It was Doppelgänger Week on Facebook, and my famous evil twin (country singer Joe Zelek) found the pic I posted of me and him sitting side by side in the same pose. He had also linked to my profile from his wall! Due to that, I got a few new friends on Facebook! 3) This week at work, I had to do some database copying and restoration. What a pain! At least it appears to have worked! 4) The final preparations are underway for the big Super Bowl party! 5) I think I'm officially addicted to New Super Mario Bros. Wii! I've now got all the star coins collected in worlds 1 through 8, plus the first two levels of world nine! 6) I'm hoping I can actually get some sleep tonight... haven't had too much this week. I've been really tossing and turning in bed each night! 7) Twizzler count up to 16! 8) Speaking of sleep, why aren't I in bed yet? 9) I just realized my Christmas stockings are still hanging. I forgot to pack them up with the other Christmas stuff. 10) Thank good it's almost the weekend. I have a ton of stuff to get done this weekend. 11) The past couple times I went to the Japanese Steakhouse and sat at the sushi bar, the chefs gave me some specials on the house. It was fun to try new food, and even better that I didn't have to pay for it! 12) I'm really looking forward to the Winter Olympics coming up... the event I'm most looking forward to?
