It's May, and I'm up extremely late. It's as good of time as any for some randomness.

1) I'm so sick of stupid people. Not only did I have to deal with listening to drunk people pop off f-bombs left and right at a local diner, but some stupid kids flipped me off for no reason while I was on my way home! Seriously, what is this world coming to?

2) I was at Fusion the other night, and while I was there, I fielded two calls for new projects! I normally don't take new projects, but one was an easy one, and the other will be for a friend of mine.

3) I was playing some Street Fighter on my 3DS today, and when I was entering the Arcade mode, it asked if I would like to turn on Internet match requests. I said Ok, because I was thinking that one or two extra matches would make things interesting. But instead, every time I ready to fight a regular match, I would get sucked into an Internet match, and I could not progress!

4) My fingers hurt. I guess I practiced my uke too much today!

5) Tuesday... I'm hoping that is the day I can finally do it...

6) Why am I up so late? It's a mix of caffeine and adrenaline from wanting to beat the crap out of some stupid teenagers, but holding back because I'm a better person than that.

7) I've got a busy day tomorrow... right after church, I have a meeting with my friend about the new project. I'm hoping that it will turn out pretty good!

8) I'm almost caught up on household chores! Which is good, because I usually don't have too much time to do them! I guess I just need to be better at taking care of stuff as it comes instead of letting it all build up!

9) It's raining again... I've never seen it rain so much in any spring season I can remember, and it's only the first of May!

10) I'm looking forward to June, mostly for E3, because I want to see the new system that Nintendo is going to be putting out.

11) Did anybody else see Princess Beatrice's hat at the royal wedding? Some website I read said that the style looked like it was inspired by Cthulhu!

12) How can one person be so cute? ^_^

Ok... Sorry about that... This video is just totally fragging my brain in so many ways, I have to pause and get myself collected. So, for this week's entry, we take you back to the world of Japanese commercials. After all, they are always good for a laugh or twenty. I stumbled upon this one by accident, and it has so much WTF in it... cute girls, saccharin-sweet music and sound effects, and... a cannibalistic pancake??? It's short, but still, I am doing repeated facepalms just thinking about this one. Don't say I didn't warn you!

So, here we are! Which is a good thing, because a little while ago, none of us could be here! I would like to apologize for anybody who could not access TGBob.com earlier today... Well, I'd like to, but an apology normally means that you need to make amends for some error you caused. This was not the case, as I had absolutely nothing to do with the site being down! Nothing at all! It was completely out of my control! I was pretty much stranded, watching helplessly on the sidelines, as others worked on trying to get my problem resolved. That's what happens when you experience an act of God! (technical term, by the way! ^_^ )

As local news and the Weather Channel has been reporting, there have been some crazy storms moving through our area. We're not getting hit as hard as some areas of the country, but we've still experienced our fair share of heavy rain and awesome winds. Apparently, last night, a huge one rolled through while I was sound asleep in bed. During the course of the onslaught we experienced, the storm ended up knocking out some fiber-optic cables that killed internet access to my webhost! So around 2am last night, all of the sites hosted by that hosting company ended up being inaccessible.

The crazy thing about it was that apparently, it was not that simple to fix. Sure, it's easy to fix a cable for somebody who knows how to do that stuff, but the big problem I deciphered, after talking to my contact at the hosting company, was that AT&T could not quickly find where the downage occurred! They pretty much had to go on a hunt to find the cables that were affected in order to patch them up! Add in the fact that since it happened in the middle of the night, nobody noticed the outage initially, and you've got yourself an extended outage!

So, I guess if anything, I'm sorry that none of us could access the site... not that it was my fault, but I'm sorry that we were all deprived of being able to visit this place! I know, egotistical, but I'm glad to be back up! Hope you are, too!
