I'll make this quick, since I'm about ready to go to bed. The comments are now active, so if anybody wants to comment on a blog, they can! Well, on one condition... you must have a TGBob.com login. For everyone who used to visit the old site, your login should still be active, so if you used to have one and can't remember your username/password, email me, and I'll get it to you. For all of you who may be new to the site and want to comment, I will be building a new signup area in the next couple of days, so please be patient! Once I get the signup and a few other small tweaks worked out, I'll stop talking about the site in my blogs so much, and focus on the important stuff... my boring life! Yay! So, g'night for now! -- TG |

I found a new trick to the admin area for my blog here... I can add new entries using my cell phone! With today's technology, this may not seem like much, but my phone is probably around five years old and does not have all that new fangled tech built in! So I an just posting this blog just to see if I could, which I can! I will type more later. --TG | ||||||||

Well, last night I launched the new site. It may appear to be the same day, but the previous blog was written about 12:30 in the morning... which makes me wonder whether or not I should add a timestamp as well as the date... Oh well... anywho, I added a dropdown box to the menu to allow you to automatically bring up any blog from the past. That should save some search time, especially if you know what you're looking for! Now, about today... I tried to get up early, so I could go get some extra work done at the office... well, part one failed... I slept through my alarm once again. Part two... failure once again! Went into work, and I couldn't get in the building because all the doors were locked! Blah! At least I can probably still manage to get some of the work done here at home, since I do have access to my files from here. In a little bit, Oliver and Erin will be coming over. Don't know what all we'll do, but probably a lot of anime watching will go down. Plus Wii-playing. I did get a new game for my Wii the other day: "Sims 2: Pets"... I haven't played it that much yet, because I simply haven't had time, but hopefully it won't be a waste of money. I don't have time for it right now, because I have some house cleaning to do, but I will update everybody later on my trip to the Carolinas. Got a lot of stories to tell! But for now, I'm signing off. L8R all! -- TG |

Ok, I'm very tired right now, so I'll make this quick... I have my new site launched!!!!! How many years have I promised this? Please don't answer that! I'm too tired to field every single question for this occassion. So, as you may have noticed, I have stripped down the site to essentially make it a blog site. I will be posting other things, like videos, poetry, projects I'm working on, etc., on here, so there will be a lot of information. Plus, you may noticed that I have copied over a bunch of older blogs I've posted on other sites, like MySpace. I will continue to add more archived information in the next couple days. Right now, the comments section is disabled... I am working on that, and will have that available very soon, so y'all can chastise me for my pathetic attempts at journalistic blogging. The comments will require a login, in order to prevent t3h spammers from running rampant. I will be using the old logins table, so if you used to have a login for my old site, you will be able to use the same when adding comments. I'll tell y'all more about it later. I have to get to bed, so I can get some work done in the morning. Later! -- TG |

Well, it's been quite a while since I've done one of these blog posts, let alone an informational blog! I got a little bit of free time, so I'll update all you loyal blog readers on what's been happening with me. First, my diet. My company started this summer fitness program thing last month, and they did the best thing to get me off of my butt and into this thing: put it in the form of a competition! Everyone who knows me well knows how competitive I can be, so just that there's a "win" at stake is motivation enough for me to get into shape. Go fig, try to diet for my health, and it fails; try to diet to win a contest, success! Anywho, I started losing some weight before the competition started; about six pounds to be exact. Week 4 of the competition is wrapping up now, and in all, including the weight I lost before the thing started, I've lost 21 pounds! My goal is to lose 60 pounds, so I'm over a third of the way there! Second, the splendid beard. It's gone! Yes, that long, bushy thing hanging from my chin is no more. The week before the fitness program, I thought about how I would have to change my eating and active habits in order to win, so I thought an initial physical change would help spur me in the right direction. So, the splendid beard came off! Even the fuzz around the sides. For the first time in probably six years, I had no facial hair! Then, I realized why I sported a beard in the first place.... I had no jaw line! My head looked like a big pink bubble with a wig on top! I have facial hair again, specifically, a full, short beard, similar to what is in my profile pic. But it's even all around. No splendid beard hanging from the chin. I'll try to post a pic of the new me here soon. Maybe after I lose a few more pounds, and can take my shirt off! Wait, that's not happening! Next up, the game. I have had several ideas floating around in my head for quite a while, but none had ever solidified. I finally started trying to focus my creative thoughts into the form of something I could convert into an online-based video game of sorts, and what popped out what a card deck-based strategy board game! I won't go into too many details, since it's still somewhat in its alpha stage, but people who enjoy games like Risk and Magic the Gathering may enjoy this one. The other night, Oliver was over, and we worked on cutting up some test playing cards for the game, getting them into card sleeves, drawing up a playing board, reviewing the rules, and then playing a game! And much to my surprise, the game actually turned out very very very very good! Methinks the one beef we both had with the game was that it took way too long to play. The game we played took about two hours, and we both agreed that shortening the game to an hour or less would make a much better playing experience. So, we played the game for two hours, and then sat around for another hour and a half discussing rule changes and strategies. I was really giddy after this all ended, because at the very least, I have a new game to play when I have friends over that everyone may enjoy. It could turn into something marketable, though! Stay tuned. I have more to update y'all on, but I've got to get going. C'ya all later! -- TGBob |
