It's been a busy weekend for me, so here's a few quick updates. 1) WTF Video will be tomorrow. I've been away all day, and still have family in town, so I haven't been able to do much at home. 2) I'm currently #18 out of 20 in my office NCAA bracket pool. However, I'm only one of two people with their Elite Eight picks still in tact, and #4 in possible points. Depending on how things fall, I could move all the way to #1 after this weekend! 3) I've been on a bit of a MySpace blitz the past couple of weeks. I've been searching for new friends, and old acquaintances, and I've gained about a dozen new MySpace friends in the past couple of weeks. That's all for now. -- TG |

Well, it's time for March Madness! That's right, the NCAA Basketball Tournament is upon us, with the play-in game tonight between Coppin State and Mount St. Mary's. The winner gets to be the sacrificial lamb for North Carolina. (Insert Easter tie-in here) My picks? East: North Carolina Midwest: Kansas South: Texas West: UCLA Championship: Kansas over UCLA... Rock Chalk Jayhawk KU! Yeah, call me a homer. Oh well. Speaking of March Madness, did anybody else see or hear about this one? During one of the SEC tournament games (Mississippi State vs Alabama) which was played at the Georgia Dome, a tornado hit downtown Atlanta, and tore the Georgia Dome a new one! The looks on the refs' faces is absolutely priceless. Luckily, nobody was hurt at the dome. If you want to see it, I have the video here with me. What are your picks? Let's get some discussion going! |

Well, since another holiday is fast approaching, it's time once again to put our festivities into the form of a web poll! So, the question of the day is: How do you plan on celebrating Easter? Don't think about it too much, or else your brain will explode! Ganbatte! -- TG |

It's Tuesday, and not much and a lot are going on at the same time. Sounds kinda contradictory, eh? Well, let me explain. It seems like this day is dragging and nothing is happening. But there's still a lot to do today. It's not that I wasted my day. It's just that the day has dragged on like nobody's business, and during that course, even though I've been working all day, it seems like nothing has been done. But now, I'm rambling. Great. Right now, I'm at Second Cup Cafe again. I made a bit of a discovery here yesterday. My computer mouse is a conversation starter! You see, I have a weird mouse that is kind of shaped like an egg, and I hold it in the palm of my hand while using it. It has a trackball on its top, and a "trigger" hole cut out of the center to use as the main mouse click. This is very odd, and gets people's attention. And believe me, when it comes to starting conversation, I need all the help I can get! You see, in my quest for finding a woman ( wink wink ), there's always been that shyness bug lurking about me, and I find it tough to start conversations with people I don't know. Especially women! But yesterday, while I was here at the coffee shop, some attractive girl that would normally never give me the light of day stopped to comment on my odd mouse! And of course, that led to me carrying on a brief conversation with her! So even though the conversation was very short, it was still something that would have never happened if not for my oddly shapen mouse. So, here I am again, working on my laptop, using my unique mouse, and seeing if anybody notices. Today, I am also sick. I don't know what exactly happened, but right after lunch, I just kinda "exploded". Once that happened, I felt like crap the rest of the afternoon, and am still feeling the effects of the sickness. And what better way to help a sickness than going to a meeting?!? Yes, I have a meeting at 7:00 this evening, and I have to go, even though I feel like crap. Ugh. One thing I hope doesn't happen with the meeting is that it drags on forever. I want to be home by 8PM, so I can catch American Idol. My girl, Ramiele, will be singing in the Top 11, and I've got to be home to root her on! In other news, Easter is obviously this weekend. My family is coming into town, starting on Thursday, and trickling into Friday. And of course, on Friday evening, that's when the Grand Olive Garden Feast occurs. Definitely looking forward to that. Also, on Saturday, it looks like I will be taking up a game of racquetball with my brother. He called me a little bit ago, and expressed interest in playing against me while he's in town. I'm planning on a rout! ;) Let's see... what else... Oh yeah. For lunch today, a bunch of us from work went to a local Mexican restaurant. Of course, I ordered the exact same thing I always order. And funny thing (well, to me at least), I was talking about how I was trying to lose weight, and then order a Pepsi to drink. Yeah, I know. Stupid. Well, that's all for now. I'm going to see what else I can get into while I'm here at the coffee shop. After all, typing doesn't give me the oppourtunity to show off my mouse! ;) -- TG |
