Time for a very special midweek version of WTF! Normally, I don't plan on doing a WTF vid midweek, but when something comes along that I marvel at in disbelief, I don't want to wait to share it! So, I read this article about this product this morning before I went to work, and I just found a video news report on the same product. I really don't know what to say, other than WTF? I really can't believe I haven't posted this video yet! I've known about it for quite some time, and I just stumbled on it again a bit ago. That got me to thinking: Did I ever post this on my site? Well, after searching through the entire thing, it looks like I haven't! So, without further adieu, here we go! Ok, a bit of further adieu. I'm not quite done talking yet. Anywho, I found this video several months ago while I was down in North Carolina. I was watching it on my laptop with the headphones plugged in. Some of my family members thought I was going crazy, because I was laughing so hard and weird! I still get a kick out of it when I watch it! I never realized this is what Sesame Street was teaching young kids! Parents, you should really monitor this public television stuff! :) Enjoy! |

Finally! A free evening! Let's get on with some randomness! 1) I was supposed to be in a golf scramble this evening. Decided to back out, since I wanted an evening of relaxation for once! 2) I'm thinking of doing a Steak n Shake run this evening, just for the heck of it. 3) Adolph is chasing a fly that found its way into my apartment. 4) Speaking of living arrangements, the whole process of buying a house is farther behind schedule than I would like for it to be. I was hoping to close on it by next week, but my appraisal was just ordered yesterday, and after everything goes through, it will be closer to the end of the month getting the place. 5) I now have TWO meetings tomorrow, in back to back hours! Yay. 6) 8 days until reunion! Can't wait to see my old classmates. Lots of catching up to do! 7) I got a certain thing fixed on this site now. Something had happened where the records of who logs into the site, and when they log in, were not being recorded. Now they are again! 8) I need to start finding boxes, because if everything with the house goes through, July will be a quick month! 9) Today was very boring at work. Most of my work today consisted of "thinking". When most of what I'm doing concerns thinking and not doing, the day really drags. 10) I plan to watch Game 4 of the NBA finals tonight. Who'd of thunk it? Me, watching basketball! Never thought that would happen! I guess you enjoy things more when they're in HD! :) 11) I need to start thinking of food I will have available for my open house/cookout, if and when I ever get that house! 12) Marbles and jerky! Ugh... what to do... what to do... Have you ever had to ask somebody a question that you knew had to be asked, but depending on how they take it, the spectrum of answers and feelings afterward could be as wide as a canyon? On one hand, the answer you want to hear would be a relief, and make you a happier person, while on the other hand, there exists the possibility that hearing this question would make this person change their very thought of you, and would end up ruining a very good thing that had grown over the years. That's kind of where I am now. It has been racing through my mind for quite a few weeks now. In the past, the thought had crossed my mind, but there were obvious obstacles present that made the whole situation not possible. Then I noticed a change. Visually, in conversation, and somewhat in action. I started getting this feeling as if the prior obstacles had been removed, and all that was needed was for me to ask this simple little question, and what had been impossible in the past was now a plausible reality. But then again, I would also think about how I could just be reading way too much into the little things, and everything that was in the past is still in effect in the present. I have talked to several different people about this situation. All of them coming from different perspectives say the same thing. "Just ask the question!" Some throw in the line, "What could it hurt?" If the answer is not the one I want to hear, it could hurt a lot! Not just me, but that friendship that has built up between the two of us. I don't want to lose that in the least. But at the same time, I don't want it to remain in its current state. That's why this question is so difficult, though. I want more, but I don't want none. If I had to choose between none and what I have currently, I would choose the latter every time. However, the risk may very well be worth the reward, and if I ask and hear the answer I want to hear, I would be overjoyed that I took that leap of faith and landed on solid ground. But there is that canyon there, and if the answer and response is not the one I want, I fall head-first into the chasm below. Ugh... I've never been good with this kind of stuff!!! -- TG |
