I started this thread to get suggestions for the new Token Awards system I'm going to add to this site.
In case you missed some of my other posts, here is a description of what Token Awards will be. They will be given out to members who achieve certain objectives on the site. For instance, if someone reaches, say, 50 posts on the forum, they could get a special token award for that!
I feel the Token Awards will get people more involved in the site. Plus, I will create special access sections for members who gather a certain number of token awards.
It won't be hard to collect most tokens. All you will have to do is keep doing what you've always been doing on the site, keep coming back, try new sections, and you'll get to see your token collection grow. And every now and then, I'll throw in special limited-edition tokens that will require a little extra effort to earn, plus members would only be able to earn it during a limited time span. So collecting one of these will boost your status among token collectors!
Anyway, I'm taking suggestions for different types of tokens that members will be able to earn. Oh, and if you don't like the name 'Token Awards', feel free to drop me a suggestion on this thread what you would like to have these awards called.
When you post an idea for a token award, please try to use this format:
Token Name : How You Earn It
I'll get the ball rolling by throwing in my own ideas. Remember, they don't have to be anything too complex. Just normal stuff you would do on this site.
New Poster : Post a message on the forum
Silver Poster : Post 25 messages on the forum
Gold Poster : Post 50 messages on the forum
Ruby Poster : Post 100 messages on the forum
Sapphire Poster : Post 500 messages on the forum
Diamond Poster : Post 1000 messages on the forum
(I know, it will be a while before some of you reach this plateau, but it's something to work for! By the way, I will be monitoring posts, so if I see giberish posts that mean nothing, and are just there so you can try to cheat your way to earning these tokens, they won't count!)
Rambler : Featured in upcoming 'Weekly Ramblings' section
Promoter : Recommend 5 new users to this site
Super Promoter : Recommend 10 new users to this site
Ok, I'm done for now. I may post some new ones later. But, feel free to leave your own recommendations for the new Token Awards, or whatever we will call it.

bob, I still think oyu need some admin / moderator functions (for-your-eyes-only) so you can get rid of some of those ancient test posts, and gibberish postcount++ posts, etc etc.
Rule #1: There are always exceptions to the rules.

I've officially changed the concept of this to 'Sticker Book'! Let me explain. Doing various things throughout the site will earn you points, which you can trade in for a sheet of stickers, which will contain 10 or 20 random stickers, which you can either keep, or trade with someone. Also, by accomplishing certain goals on the site, you will be able to earn non-tradeable special stickers.
Of course, if you have any questions, just post your question on this board, and I will do my best to answer it.
