Oi! So trying to make this sat-night/weekend blog a thing again. or still. I've been missing every other week since I started it, so whatever. yeah :)
OK, so time log, assuming I kept it up to date:
* reading / anime... how did this get grouped together? 9 hrs here. biggest single item. Probably under-reported, I know I was up for an extra hour last night reading comic books that I didn't jot down.... so make that 10 hrs.
* IM/chatting--8 hrs. close, sounds sane.
* 5 hrs netflix (may get some more of this tonight, may not.)
* 4 hrs looking up banks. still haven't gotten to act on this yet. Bah.
* games--3 hrs. less than anticipated, nice!
* other research--3 hrs. Not sure what this was now, lol
* jobhunting--1 hr. not finding any useful posts on the state gov site.
Still no library..... <_< haven't been waking up early. That's still an issue.
6) Just undervolted again and cleaned the fans. Still running just around 50C.
B) Now lending the first Coldfire book out. Also got to hang out one night after work again since last post here, and have chatted on IM a couple times. She's interesting, which is a compliment, but logistics are being difficult.
C) Think I'm being less depressed, but right now I'm amped after getting off work on a Sat night so no idea what was going on earlier in the week, heh.
2) Gurps--yeah. new player. First-time RPer, too, and it shows but the rest of us are being cool with it. Somehow Tim is the only one not playing cross-gender though, which I did NOT expect. Also, the player's personality is bleeding through at inappropriate times (I mean, a hippie that wants the pyro to burn down the forest? something's a bit off there... or maybe it's just me? Uh, no, definitely not just me. lol.)
Hoping he doesn't die outside of combat, but that's entirely a family-friendly conversation so you'll have to hit me up elsewhere for that story.
Also, the girl is pretty weirded out by the hippie, so not sure how that will end up.
3) Decided on a bank. Just haven't gotten up early enough to get across town and set things up.
alpha) Have shopped around a bit, just haven't nailed the shoes I want yet. Haven't gotten to too many stores yet though.
beta) Haven't checked fluids yet. Did find a nail in my tires and got it repaired. They think I need an alignment though; need to see about that and also get an oilchange (possibly the latter on Tuesday, not sure if I can do both then though).
Futurecasting:
* Back home for mother's day tomorrow. Gotta check fluids first and wake up horridly early.
Also, spent way too long on writing this, plus I got sidetracked a lot. Started around 11pm and now it's nearly 2am. Sigh.
