TOP 10 FAVOURITE ANIME - INTRODUCTION |      |

I've been thinking about doing this for a while, and I finally got the list compiled. Over the next several days, I'm going to be presenting a list of my Top 10 favourite anime of all time, with a post dedicated to each anime and why I placed it there. Now, when it comes to me judging these anime, I didn't really look at breaking the shows down into judging categories, like art, plot, characters, etc. I just went with the main one: did I enjoy it or not, and how much did I enjoy it? So, some of the artsy, flashy, and critical thinking-enducing anime that I've seen are not on the list, where some may feel they deserve to be up there. I'm not going to reveal the list just yet, but here are a couple quick highlights:
1) Six of the ten anime are shounen anime.
2) Sailor Moon is NOT on the list, so don't even go there!
3) There is one WHOPPING surprise on the list that even surprised me on how it ended up there. I'm interested to see if anybody can guess what it is!
4) Three of the series in my top 10 are ongoing at this point, so there is room for any of these to either rise or fall further in the future.
5) Six of the anime are single season series.
So, maybe from those highlights above, could anybody be able to guess what my top 10 is? Remember, it's not about style, plot, character development (although they may factor into the overall effect)... it's about how much I enjoyed the series. So, guess away!
Oh, and one more thing... to save you the trouble of guessing what anime I have and haven't seen, I will post an alphabetical list of anime I have seen in the comments section of this post, so you can take that and wittle it down.
